Shah Rukh Khan, who recently got a good news from the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) as they lifted his ban from entering into the Wankhede stadium expressed his gratitude to MCA.
The 49 year old super star posted a tweet on the microblogging website Twitter to giving thank you note to the Mumbai Cricket Association.
The co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, Shah Rukh thanked MCA for showing “graciousness” in lifting the 5-year ban.

The CEO of KKR, Venky Mysore also expressed his pleasure and posted a tweet on Twitter regarding Shah Rukh’s ban being revoked by MCA.
On Sunday, August 2nd, MCA lifted the ban which was imposed by them after an altercation between Shah Rukh Khan and a security guard and MCA officials.
That incident happened back in 2012, after an IPL Match in which SRK’s IPL Team Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Mumbai Indians.
Even the MCA officials registered a police complaint against the star actor for voluntarily causing hurt and intimidation, but since the offence was non-cognizable, SRK was not arrested.
Shah Rukh Khan defended himself by alleging that he was provoked after the security guards allegedly touched a group of children in the name of removing. He went there to pick up the children after the match, and the group included his own daughter, Suhana.

MCA took this decision on Sunday, 2nd August, 2015.
“Today, in the MCA meeting, we decided that the ban which was imposed on Shah Rukh Khan, KKR’s co-owner should be lifted. With the approval of our president ‘Sharad Pawar’, it was proposed to lift the ban and the managing committee approved it unanimously.” Vice-President, Ashish Shelar told.
Now SRK can officially enter in the Wankhede stadium and can watch as many matches as he want.
