The ‘Lootera‘ star is eagerly waiting to play the role. She took it on the micro-blogging website Twitter to confirm and share the news. Shekhar, the music composer, appreciated her on being roped in for her new venture.

There were two sisters to Dawood, one is Haseena Parkar and other is Saeeda Parkar. Once upon a time, Haseena was used to be known by the slang, the underworld queen. She passed away at the age of 55 due to a heart attack as reported. She used to live with her son and daughter in Nagpada, Mumbai.
As reported by the Times of India, she got involved in the crimes’ world in the year 1991 when her husband was shot dead by the rival gang. She started doing notorious activities like land grabbing, etc. Eventually, she held a major asset of the Dawood’s kingdom and got famous as the ‘Mother of Nagpada’.
She was the seventh child to her parents in a family of 12 children. On the contrary, Mohammed Ibrahim, her father was a police officer in the Mumbai crime branch.
Sonakshi is currently busy making progress to make her TV debut with singing-TV reality show ‘Indian Idol Junior‘ and also shooting for A R Murugadoss’s next ‘Akira‘. She has experience of working in an underworld type of film. Her last such film was ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara‘ in which she was in the role of the love interest of Dawood. That film publicized itself on being Dawood’s biopic.
Produced by Mubina Rattonsey, ‘Haseena – The Queen of Mumbai‘ is slated to release 2016, next year. It will showcase the complex character of her which will include 40 years of her life.
