The teaser poster of the upcoming film, ‘Shaandaar‘, starring Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt has been released over the internet. It is unveiled today, Tuesday, and making the buzz. Shahid and Alia are sharing the space on silver screen for the first time.
The ‘Shaandaar‘ teaser poster shows both the lead actors sleeping with each other on a bench with old rags lying surrounding them. Shahid is featured wearing a vest and have messy hair while Alia is seen wearing torn jeans and taking naps.
The chocolate actor, Shahid is doing his first film after his wedding with Mira Rajput. Directed by Vikas Bahl, who directed ‘Queen‘ starring Kangana Ranaut, the film’s plot revolves around a destination marriage.
Shahid Kapoor was excited to share the news. Thus, he took it on Twitter for the same.

Both the actors dozing, rags lying, and two heart clouds are shown in the poster. Except it, nothing else is unveiled yet, but it can be inferred that the duo will be romancing with each other in the film.
Its first look will be released tomorrow, 5th August 2015. The pairing of Shahid and Alia has made it one of the anticipated films of the year. Along with the two lead actors, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta also shared the teaser poster on their respective Twitter handles.
Alia’s last release was ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania‘. As of now, she is busy in shooting for ‘Kapoor and Sons’ co-produced by Karan. After these projects, she will be seen in Abhishek Chaubey’s directorial ‘Udta Punjab‘ opposite to Shahid.
On the other hand, Shahid also has further projects pending after ‘Shaandaar‘ and ‘Udta Punjab‘. As per the reports, he will be featured along with Saif Ali Khan in Vishal Bhardwaj’s next.
Dharma Productions and Phantom Films are co-producing ‘Shaandaar‘. The first trailer of the film is slated to release with ‘Brothers‘, the directorial venture of Karan Malhotra starring Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra, and Jacqueline Fernandez in the important roles.
‘Shaandaar‘ is slated to release on October 22, 2015.
